Visit Tasmania’s Botanical Garden

Wander the grounds of Hobart’s Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens with a specialist guide.

A guided tour of the Woolmers Estate allows you to experience a special journey through time, from the establishment of the estate in 1817, by Thomas Archer 1st, to the last descendant, Thomas Archer 6th in 1994, and marvel at the array of personal collections and possessions accumulated through six generations of the family. The outstanding National Rose Garden displays all of the recognized rose families and represents one of the finest collections of historic roses in the southern hemisphere, ranging from the earliest European and China roses through to the roses of the twenty first century.

Visit some of Tasmania's finest private gardens, not normally open to the public.

Food and Art of Tasmania

Experience gourmet tastings, as well as the famous Salamanca Market and the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA).
